Cafe Oz
Photos by Kess Bohan. Words by Salina Christmas

I had a cup of instant coffee before we went to Kaffeine, the Australian cafe which recently opened on London's Titchfield Street.

"Why are you having shit coffee?" Our photographer demanded. "We're going to have the best coffee in London."

At Kaffeine, I asked the young barista for its "best coffee". He made me a cup of "flat white", an antipodean take on the espresso with a portion of steamed milk served in a small cup. Less frothy than your usual latte, with no sugar, and stronger in taste.

Cafe Oz is one of our reportage for Nissan East meets West show. Kaffeine is now open. Nearest tube station: Oxford Circus. Nearest gallery: Magnum Print Room
