Chinchon Memories
Photos and words by Jaime Abascal

Reflejando el azul del cielo
reposa el azul del mar,
el que ayer fue verde si más,
conforme, chispeante y a veces revoltoso,
aunque siempre airoso.
Siempre yendo y viviendo desde ninguna parte
a cada olvidado rincón,
mismo en este, tan calido, en el que me encuentro yo,
donde soy hijo y hermano de corazón,

Reflecting the blue of the sky
resting with the blue of the sea,
yesterday it was so green,
agreeing, sparkling and resisting
but forever lush.
Always leaving and coming back
from nowhere
to every forgotten corner,
even here in this warmth I am in,
where I am my heart's son and brother
