One wouldn't categorize Vietnam as a luxury destination. But it is a fast developing nation and no doubt the rough-around-the-edges image will change soon.

It echoes the past images of many South East Asian countries before they succumbed to globalisation and shopping malls.

Jason was happy with his trip, "I like Vietnam but wish I had seen more of the countryside. I spent all my time in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh city. Also a few days in Pnom Penh which is a crazy city that I like a lot."
