The judge, Norbert Rosing
(left), speaks about the importance of photography in educating
the masses about the environment. He agrees that photography
has a social position, an influential one at that, and
how he tries to drive home the message through his works
on the Arctic.
Rosing
is famous for his ongoing project, The
World of the Polar Bear. Last year,
nine of his images was selected for the final
Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition.
