La patria
es una palabra inventada
por un malhablado,
que quiso decir "pata"
quiriendo decir
que cada uno debe defender
el lugar donde pisa.

The nation
is a word invented
by one who pronounces badly,
him who is wanting to say, "legs"
who is meaning to say
that everyone should defend
the place where he stands.
