To date, Bikeworks has some 100 bicycles ranging from recreational bikes, special bikes for disabled people to the usual on-the-road numbers. It also employs around 25 freelancers for bicycle maintenance and social services.

Between April 2007 and April 2008, Bikeworks posted a turnover of £165,000. About 77% of the profits made by Bikeworks between April 2007 and April 2008 was earned income. As of September 2007, it already earned large contracts of £100,000 each from the boroughs of Newham, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest.

Yup, selling recycled bikes is definitely more interesting than web editing.
