Travel Photographer of
the Year 2007

Fourteen year-old Luna Malka from Canada told us that her winning entries for the Young Travel Photographer category were photographed on the same day.

The photos were taken using a Panasonic Lumix. She started taking photos using a Canon FTb.

It helped that her father is also a photographer. Malka found out about the competition on the internet and submitted her entries online. In November 2006, she received an email stating that she was shortlisted.
