The
Food Review:
Qatar Air & Air Asia
By Salina Christmas
The camera never tells a
lie, and in this case, my iPhone is telling you exactly
what our lunch on the Qatar Airways' Heathrow-Doha route (March
2008) was like: mediocre.
Of course, we were travelling the economy
class, but we still deserved decent meals. I made the mistake
of ordering kadi pakora with basmati rice. The other entrée
that I missed out on were the grilled beef sausages with onion
with paprika gravy, with mash potatoes and pumpkin, and barbecued
chicken on vegetable mee goreng, with sautéed choy sum
with onions.
I gave up on the main meal and settle
for a Lily O'Briens sticky toffee instead.
