It was already 2.30pm by the time I arrived at the Highgate Cemetery in Hampstead, North London. I had my work cut out with the iPhone.

I managed to capture the shadow of the tombstone, but as you can see from the lack of depth and contrast, it was getting a bit cloudy.

You have to pay £5 to enter the West Side or the East Side of this cemetery. The East Side is open to the public. The West Side is only accessible via guided tours.

Here you can find the graves of some of the most contraversial figures in world, if not the British, history. To get here, you have to walk through Waterlow Park from the Archway tube station.
