Dead
Famous: An iPhone Reportage
By Salina Christmas
When I first visited Paris
in 2002, I made a point to go the Pére Lachaise Cemetery
to see the graves of Oscar Wilde and Jim Morrison.
I took some photos, but very soon
forgot about them. Then, in summer 2005, when I started to
take photography seriously, I discovered that cemeteries
make good subjects. You just have to approach them like
sculptures. Or architecture.
For this reportage, I used my new
iPhone instead of my NIkon D70. I only have 2.0 megapixels
of resolution to work with.
