Come Up for Coffee
Photos & Illustrations by Zarina Holmes
My late grandmother used to grow her
own coffee. But I was brought up in a tea-drinking household. After leaving
home, I discovered many ways of enjoying coffee.
Coffee-drinking is arguably more
social than tea-drinking. Continental Europeans polished off dinners
with coffee. Wi-fi coffee shops is a trendy thing in London now, although
some friends wouldn't frequent Starbucks out of principal.
Coffee break at rue de Rambuteau, Paris. I was soaking the bohemian atmosphere of Marais area after doing some sketches around the city.
