Good as gold

Here's one I ate earlier.

A crocodile and the snack in its belly. The human head is reflected in the mirror beneath the figurine.

Rarely do you see humour and opulence combined together in ancient objects of high value such as this.

These ancient Colombians, if we may call them that, could take a piss on themselves. The conquistadors couldn't take that away from them. Nor could they seize the gold off them.

The Muisca knew how to hold on to their treasure.
