Sojournposse Projects are initiatives by the collective to celebrate photography arts through exhibitions, events and cross-media experiences. We collaborate with corporations, art organizations, global cities and various art disciplines to inspire, illuminate and galvanize creative dialogues within the society. The project began at London Design Festival 2009. Through this, we preserve the culture of "making art" to realize creative thoughts. For ideas to illuminate the world or inspiring collaborations, please contact info@sojournposse.com
Perfume. (Working title)
London and Spain. Project status: In development for Spring 2010.
Perfume is a project based on preserving memories through images and words. The challenge is to describe sensations invisible to the eyes, to communicate a sense, the smell, that is still impossible to capture on films and in words. Through this project Sojournposse will discuss people's extraordinary desire to resuscitate the past and keep memories alive.

"Reciclografia" is a photography project created by Jaime Saez de Adana in Barcelona. For a year, he composed and photographed discarded furniture as "short-lived" street art installations in suburban Barcelona; as a comment to excessive consumerism. Reciclografia series were featured for the first time at "One Thousand and One Nights" on 18th December in London, using picture frames found on Barcelona's roadside skips. The project will be continued as a Sojournposse collective project, the date to be announced later.
The New Jersey Project (Working title). The Situation Modern, South Jersey Sightings and Sojournposse. US and London. Project status: In development for Spring 2010.
In 2009, Sojournposse developed exciting relationships with friends across the world and from various art movements. This has lead to creative conversations during transit (mostly in London at cafés and galleries) which resulted in ideas to exhibit our works together and share our arts.
One Thousand and One Nights
Curated by The Situation Modern. London. 18 December 2009
Sojournposse is a hypothetical campfire... a gathering of digital age storytellers, where inspired journeys and stories are shared. The show celebrates our existence as a collective for over three years; over one thousand inspiring nights telling our stories through photography.
Inspired by the famous tale originated from ancient Persia, we draw parallel between Sojournposse storytelling and the wonderful book. We share the spirit to continue telling our stories to keep our art and memories of the world alive.
On the evening of 18th December, we gathered together as photographers, poets and musicians; and open our windows for everyone to peek inside our worlds. Jubilant, curious, colourful, dark, sparkling, sensual, alive, humorous, ordinary and special.

East Meets West for Nissan Design Europe
London Design Festival. 23-25 September 2009
How does one single mind or an idea find its way across the globe – from East to West – to piece together a fabric that we call “reality”? What we mean by this reality is that it is a fact that cannot be described from one place only. Reality is as wide as colours, music, geography or feelings. We can only grasp this point by opening our ears, minds and hearts to be able of comprehend the other point of views. Our conclusion is that we are never separate entities. We are one all along; hence “East is West”. 12 photographers and one musician to embark on a special journey to collect photographic evidence from around the world, to create a vivid montage of the given theme. From the Silk Route in China to Cowtown rodeo show in the US, we joined the dots from East to West. Thus discovering that the concept of “East” and “West” is both myth and reality.
